Be a Runner, Not a Quitter! 8 Hints to Make it Happen

Tough as it may seem at the beginning, running is one of the best calorie-blasting workouts and currently a very trendy physical activity that often becomes a healthy addiction. There are plenty of kick-butt reasons to start running and most importantly – stick to it… We’re here to convince you!

1. Set small attainable goals and set up your mind for running.

If you’ve just started out – take it easy. It’s supposed to be fun, remember? Don’t discourage yourself and lose spirit by pushing too hard at the beginning. Small, achievable goals, patience and consistency will help you enjoy your runs and feel more confident after each workout.

5. Don’t run alone – a good running partner will keep you motivated and amused.

A running partner is a good pacesetter who can make the miles fly by. Your running buddy will push you a little faster or further and you won’t have to worry about safety while running in the dark. Surely you’ll have someone to blab to about your problems and to show you some new running routes. And most importantly, if you pass the talk test, you know you’re going at the right pace.
